Degree Requirements

TED University English Language and Literature Master's Program is designed to cover 4 semesters.

To graduate from the program, the students must

  • successfully complete 7 courses equivalent of 21 TEDU credits and 1 seminar course,
  • successfully write and defend their Master's Thesis orally before a jury,
  • obtain a minimum of 120 ECTS. 

**The students are required to register for the Thesis Course for the semesters in which they carry out the thesis work.

**Up to two of the 7 courses to be taken by the student equivalent of 21 TEDU credits can be selected from undergraduate courses provided that they have not been taken during their undergraduate studies. 

**Up to two of the 7 courses to be taken by the student equivalent of 21 TEDU credits can be selected from the courses offered in other higher education institutions, with the recommendation of the Graduate School Program Area Directorate and the approval of the Graduate School Executive Board.

**One of the 7 courses to be taken by the student equivalent of 21 TEDU credits can be selected from the courses offered by TEDU Migration Studies Graduate Program, with the approval of both ELL and MIGS Graduate School Program Area Directorates.
